Treasures from Grandma

My grandma and I planned to have breakfast together the other day, but it ended up turning into so much more. We ended up spending the day at her cabin in Shaver. I also ended up coming home with some treasures that were in her garage. I love old things, especially when they use to belong to my grandma and great grandma.

Great finds! I want that table to work for you so badly. Do you think it will, or will it be too small? And that sewing table...perfect for a desk in the dining area. Good work.

Hi, sorry kind of random. I came across your blog from your husbands blog, which I found when I was doing a google find for the Pink House in Fresno. After reading some of your posts I'm seeing that you two aren't the regular Bakersfield married couple in regards to your care for social justice. Can I ask what church you go to?

What great treasures...especially knowing where they come from. Capturing a bit of history and family meaning is awesome.

We are so glad that you could come over last night! I was telling someone today that it was like having extended family over for a visit. We loved hanging out and look forward to more opportunities to get to know you guys.
